Who are we?

mywaydress is an online platform for co-design and production of customisable dresses. At MWD we believe every woman should be in power of her own dress. Also, we believe a dress should be unique and tailored at best standards. This is why our designer tool allows you to choose your own fit, style and colour. This is also why we do one dress at a time.

How do I place an order?

Simply by accessing our interactive designer here. The designer takes you through 5 simple steps and helps you create the desired dress. You can always revisit any of these 5 steps to change the selected style, fit or colour. When you’re ready to turn your design into a dress, select your size, click on the “add to bag” and your dress will be added to the shopping bag. Proceed to checkout from the mini bag on top of the MWD website and follow the straightforward prompts to complete our straightforward checkout process.

How do I choose size?

What is the difference between loose and tight fit?

Loose is comfortable fit, neither slim nor oversized, while tight fit is compressive fit and follows body curves.

What kind of fabric do we use?

At MWD we use viscose jersey fabric to produce your dresses. Jersey fabrics feature small, distinctive lengthwise ribs on their front side. Fabrics are soft and stretchy, perfect for creating comfortable & flowing basic dress. We believe a dress needs to feel natural and soft on a woman’s body. Fabric has a silky appearance and texture and it retains rich brilliant colour. Its natural base contributes many properties similar to cotton or other cellulosic natural fibres. It is breathable, soft, moisture absorbent, comfortable to wear and it drapes well. Our fabric is the best quality jersey with 94% viscose and 6% elastin with weight of 210 grams/m2. Elastin makes the knit fabric heavier and gives it a fantastic drape. The elastin blend also helps to drape well, and to stabilise the fabric making it skin-friendly & comfortable to wear.

How do I know my order has been accepted?

After you place your order and payment was successful, you will receive an email acknowledging your order has been received. We take it from there to make sure your design is forwarded to our factory and from there turned into a dress. You are of course also more than welcome to contact us for details.

What is mywaydress method of payment? And is it safe?

We use Telr payment gateway and accept Visa and Mastercard. We work hard to ensure your purchase is safe and secure. For your protection, all orders go through a rigorous fraud-checking process.

How long does it take from order to delivery?

It takes up to maximum 10 days for production of one dress. Every dress is custom made by our seamstress who cut patterns, sew and pack dress exclusively for you. Also, we take special care to ensure highest quality of the produced dresses so we do all necessary quality checks. Delivery speed will depend on location of delivery. You can also always contact our team at customercare@mywaydress.com and we will inform you on the status of your order and try expediting it if needed.

What about taxes and duties?

Delivery duty is unpaid and product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties, as well as VAT. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. We are unable to advise the amount this may be.

Do you provide worldwide shipping?

Yes. We offer standard shipping globally through a trusted delivery partner.

How do I keep track of my order?

Once the order is shipped, we will send you an e-mail notifying you your dress has been shipped and is on the way. You will also receive a unique tracking number by email. Once in receipt of this tracking number you can check the current status of your shipment. Alternatively, you can email us on customercare@mywaydress.com and we will track the order on your behalf.

Where are MWD fabrics produced?

Our viscose is eco-friendly, as the primarily source is naturally regenerative - cellulose fiber. Yarn is made in Austria following highest eco standards, from wool pulp sourced from European woods. Yarn is than turned into jersey fabric in mills in Portugal. Our dresses are developed and manufactured in Croatia, EU.

Where are the dresses produced?

Our dresses are produced in Croatia, EU. We take care of your dress from initial order placement, fabric stock, cutting, sewing, quality assurance, dispatch and customer support. This allows us to provide better quality garment.

What if the dress does not fit?

How should I wash the dress?

Viscose fabrics are fragile, however, dress can be machine-washed with care. 
To avoid ruining your favorite dress or bleeding colors always follow these instructions:

Machine wash at 30°C or less.
Do not bleach. 
Do not tumble dry. 
Dry flat. 
Can be ironed at maximum  temperature of 110°C.
Can be dry cleaned in any solvent bar trichloroethylene
with additional restrictions on water,
mechanical action or temperature during normal dry cleaning process.
